To match the Agilist 2026, the shoulder pouch is now made from the same material, with all the features that make your main backpack so light and robust.
Ultra 200X is one of the strongest UHMWPE composite fabrics in the world. A dense weave of UHMWPE and high-strength polyester is laminated to a waterproof PET film with an eco-friendly adhesive. The result: extremely tear-resistant, feather-light at only 132 g/m², waterproof up to 14 bars and complete PFAS-free.

Frequent Questions
Yes, current Pro-Max/Ultra models will fit in the main compartment. The bag measures approximately 18 × 8.5 × 3.5 cm internally. This accommodates nearly all current smartphones, including those with protective cases. Very thick, ruggedised cases might be a tight fit, so if in doubt, it's best to measure beforehand.
The bag is for compact cameras Sony RX100 Series designed, which covers comparable models such as the Ricoh GR III/IIIx, Canon G7X or Panasonic LX Series with ab. Larger system cameras do not fit.
Advantage over a hip bag: The camera sits protected high on the shoulder strap, even when you set the rucksack down in camp.
She is highly water-repellent, but not in the sense of a dry bag being waterproof. The Ultra 200X laminate reliably repels rain and spray. The zip is not taped, so water can penetrate in prolonged rain.
For sensitive electronics during prolonged rain, we recommend placing your mobile phone in a zip-lock bag or carrying it in the main compartment of your backpack.
Optimised for the Agilist and Endurist. However, it works with any rucksack who has:
- a shoulder strap whose webbing can be pulled out of the ladder buckle,
- and a daisy-chain loop (or similar loop) that the clip can hook onto.
This covers most UL backpacks from common manufacturers. If you're unsure, drop us a quick message with a photo of your shoulder strap, and we'll give you an honest assessment.
Both are possible. The pouch is symmetrical in design and can easily be fitted the other way round. If you’re right-handed and want to grab your mobile quickly, you’d typically fit it on the left, so you can open it with your right hand without twisting your arm. On the Agilist, the elasticated shoulder bag is permanently sewn onto the shoulder strap that goes over the left shoulder. However, the zipped pocket can still be fitted over it if required, as daisy chains are fitted on both sides.
If needed with warm water and a soft cloth Wipe clean. No washing machine, no harsh cleaners. Occasionally treat the zip with silicone spray, then it will run quietly even after years.
Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight – UV radiation causes the material to age more slowly.
Like the Agilist 2026, the shoulder bag is also manufactured at our High-Tech Ultralight Pack factory in Vietnam. The Ultra 200X laminate requires specialised processing, which we are unable to achieve to this standard on our sewing machines here at home.
Design, development, QC of every single piece and the final shipping continue to take place in the WeitLäufer Lab in Emmendingen.
